I made a wish that I

Would get a little cat

But it seems that I

Got everything but

That I decided that it

Was my worst

Birthday ever then

At night when I could

Not sleep, I heard

Meows, and then, my

Brother woke me up

He said that they

Forgot to give me

One last present

It was a little

Cat that I named

Grant.

Months till I’m in

The pound please adopt

Me soon I’ll feel like

My friend told me what

It was like to be in

The pound with all

Those mean and harsh

Fellows you won’t even

Get a pillow to sleep with

And then he said ‘ If no

One adopts you soon,

They will crush you in

A machine till all

Your bones are broken”

So that is why I’m

One day a lad

I was going to the

Rodeo,but then I

Stopped by Sally O

So I volunteered and

There once was a jolly
